In an interesting academic battle, the Kumasi High School has been crowned the champions of the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Ashanti Regional competition after beating Opoku Ware School and Prempeh College.

Kumasi High School at the end of the contest garnered 46 points with Opoku Ware School having 36 points and Prempeh College 23 points respectively.
The National Science and Maths Quiz also known as NSMQ is an annual science and mathematics content-based national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana.
