The course seeks to analyze the nature of African politics drawing inspiration from the works of Fela Kuti and how it dissects African politics.
Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì was a Nigerian musician, bandleader, composer, political activist, and Pan-Africanist. He is regarded as the King of Afrobeat. He was born in 1938 and died in 1997. Fela Kuti is the Most Persecuted Musician in History. He was arrested over 200 times, and appeared in court 356 times for mostly criticising the Nigerian Government.
