The Directorate of the Student Affairs on its official X page (formerly twitter) posted that “It is announced For the information of all undergraduate students and the University community that the link for application For bedspaces in Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (SRC) Hostel, kohs.knustedu.gh, will be opened From 9:00am12 September 2024 to 11:59pm of 13th September 2024”

KNUST SRC hostel : How to apply for Accommodation bed space

It is advisable to use a laptop instead of a phone, and with a stable internet connection.

1. Launch/Open your mobile browser
2. Got to the SRC hostel Portal link; https://kohs.knust.edu.gh/
3. You will be directed to the login screen.
4. Enter your KNUST student credentials (Username and Password)
5. Choose from any of the 4 choices (Block A, Block B, Block C and Block D) along with the type of room (Flat or self contained) and number in a room. KNUST SRC hostel Prices are indicated when making the selection.
6. Wait for an official notification from the SRC Hostel detailing you on the choices you made and whether it was approved. This will come in the form of a text message.
7. Log in to the room Allocator portal and print out your form.
8. If approved as stated in point 4, head to any of the approved KNUST banks and make payment.
9. Take the receipt to the office of the Dean of Students for official endorsement. Make a copy of it for yourself.
10. Submit the endorsed form on the reopening semester date to the porters for a key to your room.
